Who AM I?

I am a chef/owner of Simpli Sushi, a Pop-Up Sushi Take Out and sushi catering service. I am also director of operation for multi-locations fast casual restaurant. I was born and raised in Laos a.k.a Lao PDR and moved to the U.S. half way of my high school years.

vongmanoroth.com is where I share my life story, where I came from, things my little family loves to do, and also my love of creating great food, mainly Japanese inspired dishes.

I hope to educate the world as much as I can through my cooking and also show everyone about Laos, especially my small home town, "Luang Prabang." a world heritage site.
